[glow=red,2,300]Chapter 9-[/glow]
Bella shook. I will not lose control, she muttered to herself, I will not "Aaargh!!!" She cried out in pain as a white light seared through her head, making her feel as if she had been stabbed. Blood bubbled up in her stomach and she coughed it out. Her knees buckled, and she feel to the ground, still seeing nothing but bright flashing lights. I cannot fail him this time. I will not! She thought, reaching blindly for Trelawney.
Voldemort saw the sceen from afar. "Bellatrix!" he called, but she didn't seem to hear him. Then it was too late. She was writhing on the ground, making incomprehensible noises as the curse sapped her strength. The Dark Lord forgot everything. He forgot the plans they had made. He forgot every man for himself. He ran into the fray, his heart pumping, and scooped Bellatrix up in his arms. This had been a terrible idea. She put up a good front, but she weighed nearly nothing and her body was still scarred from prison. "Bellatrix," he muttered softly "What have a done to you?" Voldemort quickly erased the professors memory and began to gilde back to the Riddle House.
Bella's vision swam, but she was vaguely aware that she was being carried somewhere. Her only wish was that it was not the other side.
Voldemort and his baggage arrived at the Riddle House within fifteen minutes. Already the damage was taking place. Bellatrix was pale and a thin sheen of sweat covered her face. She tossed and turned in his arms as The Dark Lord opened the doors. "Where is Snape?" he hissed to the nearest Death Eater.
The Death Eater immediately charged up the stairs and Severus Snape appeared seconds later. "My Lord." He bowed, and then his cold grey eyes glimpsed Bellatrix. "This way!" He said, hurriedly leading them away.
Voldemort took in Snape's face with anxiety. "Do you know how to help her Severus?"
Snape looked at her. "If you don't mind me asking, My Lord... What happened?"
"We were attempting to find Sibyl, the one who made the prophecy. Clearly there was some sort of enchantment upon her."
Snape nodded. "All right." He tried to support Bellatrix's head, but it rolled to the side. She was cold to the touch and if it were not for the fact that her chest was rising and falling slowly with the intake of breath, she would easily have been mistaken for dead. He poured a crimson liquid down her throat and they waited in suspense.
