Hello, loves!! It's me, xoxo, back again with another fic. This one is taking an entirely different plot line than my last one. Especially since they're still at Hogwarts in mine. It'll be different, and hopefully explanatory of some of the actions of the Death Eaters in the books (like I tried to do with my Snape and Bella Unbreakable Vow thing in The Reward) So I hope you all enjoy!!

[shadow=red,left,300]Chapitre Un-[/shadow] Emerald green danced amongst the stars. These shimmering jade stars had no shape as of yet, we were still working on that.
For a moment, I was worried. The signal seemed to be hovering above the Forbidden Forest. Although I considered myself “brave”, I would not have fancied a trip into the Forest at night. Luckily, though, the location he wanted me to meet him at was right at the edge. Note to self: We must work on pinpointing an exact location with our signals.
There he was. Leaning nonchalantly back against a tree on the very edge of the Forest. As if it were perfectly normal that a sixth year student would sit on the edge of a terrifying forest at 3:32 in the morning. His dark hair was a wavy and slightly messy, his lips thin and sensual. His eyes, my favorite thing about him, danced when they saw me. Eyes that were bluer than gray, more green than blue, and more honey brown than anything else.
Slowly, I made my way to him. Why rush it? Besides, if I was seen… well, I’d be with him. He would get me out of it. Finally I came to stand before him.
“Ah, Bella,” He smiled at me, a smile that way anything but innocent, “You came.”
“I always do, Tom,” I replied, sitting beside him, “And I always will. You know that.”
Tom beamed like a delighted little boy. He took my hand in his briefly. “I know that.” He said, brushing the hair away from my eyes. Stupid hair. Always getting in the way. He chuckled softly.
“Now. Come here, there is something I wish to show you.”
“You do?” I asked, heading into the forest with him. When you’re with Tom Riddle it’s hard to be afraid.
He nodded, leading me further into the trees. “Stop here.” He said.
I looked around. There was nothing interesting about the place. At least, not from what I could tell. “Um… You wanted to show me…?”
He touched his finger to my lips. “Shh. Patience, Bellatrix. We shall have to work on that…”
I inclined my head. “Yes, Tom.”
“Now. Watch.” He lifted his wand.
Phoenix feather and Yew, Fourteen inches. I rolled my eyes at myself. There is something wrong with you if you even know what a boy’s wand is made out of and how long it is. Tom liked to forget the Phoenix feather part. Although he admired the immortality of the bird, he hated the fact that the feather came from our least favorite Professor’s stupid bird.
“Serpensortia.” He whispered, the spell having a weird sound coming from him. For some reason, all the spells Tom used made the rest of us sound like we could barely speak English. They were hissy, snake-like, with a hint of Latin to them. Very advanced in sound. Sexy too.
I forced myself to maintain composure when a long slithering snake hissed out of the tip of his wand. He nodded to me, pleased to see that I remained so calm and collected. I laughed to myself. Even my baby sister Narcissa would have shrieked.
“Thzelpth Clpthze” He spoke and I froze. The snake moved away from him.
“Tom, what are you-” He held up a hand, silencing me.
For the next fifteen minutes he spoke to this snake and it behaved in the most bizarre was possible.
“Tom….” I was growing a bit weary now.
Tom laughed, waving his wand and causing the snake to vanish.
Unconsciously, I began backing away. “What the bloody-hell was…”
He smiled, taking a step toward me, a gentle look on his face. “I’m a Parselmouth, Bella.”

[glow=red,2,300]Chapter Two-[/glow]
"You...are...a...what?" I asked, genuinely confused and still a bit freaked out. I sat back against a tree, not even looking at him. This was too weird. Was it some sort of a prank? Just a lot of hissing noises to screw with my brain? Coming from Tom?? Yeah right.
"Parselmouth. I can talk to snakes."
I gave a shakey laugh. "Well, yes. I can see that."
Tom positively beamed as he sat across from me. "Now, you must'nt tell anyone..."
"No. No of course not."
"It is a very dark gift, Bella."
"And rare too I expect? I don't know too many people who speak to snakes in their spare time..."
He laughed at this. "No. The only person who I know for certain was one is Salazar Slytherin."
I looked over at him, my dark eyes meeting his. I looked at the Slytherin crest on our robes. "Could he?" I asked, making small talk. Yes, I was still a bit weirded out.
"I think I'm the heir." He told me honestly.
"Heir? Heir of what?" I asked, feeling extremely ignorant with every word he spoke. Come to think of it, I knew nothing of Tom's parents or his childhood. He never spoke about it with any of us. He was dark, mysterious and distant and it was one of the things that made him so damn sexy.
"Oh right," He said, looking away. "I forgot you don't know. I thought I'd told you everything, Bella," He smiled at me, "But I guess not."
"What is there to tell me?"
"What do you know about my parents?"
"Nothing." I answered honestly.
"Well we'll start with my mother. My mother...." He said, as if wondering where to begin, "My mother was a witch. A pure-blood witch. She gave birth to me at an orphanage where I grew up. She told them nothing more than that I should be named Tom after my father, Marvolo after my grandfather and that Riddle should be my surname. She died a day or two later." He added dismisively, as if he didn't really care how long she lived.
I muttered a small "Oh," and waited. When he did not continue I pressed on, "And your father?"
"My father?" He laughed. It was a curious laugh, chilling, cold almost. He swore, "He was a muggle. Just some lowly mother my mother was smitten with but then he left her. He left me..." His voice broke a bit.
Could it be that Tom Riddle was actually upset at this? And he was...he was a half-blood? I couldn't believe it.
He saw the realization dawn in my eyes. "Yes, yes. I'm a half-blood." Tom muttered, as if he could read my mind.
"Your mother was pure-blood?"
Tom nodded. "A direct descendant of Salazar Slytherin himself." He shrugged. "But she was a frivilous whore who obviously could have cared less seeing as she married a filthy muggle." He looked over at me and could tell I was at a loss for words. "I'm going to find them all some day, Bella, I will. And when I do..." He paused, "When I do I'm going to kill them. Every last one of them."
"Tom, really," I said desperately. I had never seen him this upset before, "WHY?"
"For letting them destroy my life. For letting them tear me apart."
I looked at him. This broken young man, sitting alone at the base of an old tree in a dark forest, a glittering green mass twinkling above him in the Heavens.
"But I'll start here first."
"And how?"
"I'll open the Chamber of Secrets."
I gulped. Now I knew what he was talking about. "But Tom we don't even know that you're the heir! We don't even know where it is!!!"
"On the contrary..." He smiled, "I know right where it is."

Next Chapter-
He grabbed me by the wrist and began to run through the forest and back toward the school. He immediately ran up the marble staircase, running through several ghosts on the way. I shuddered. "Tom, what is-?" "Shh! Someone will hear you!" Oh. And like they wouldn't SEE us? But I kept my mouth shut. He stopped outside a bathroom. The very same bathroom that that girl had been killed in a week or so ago. "Go ahead in." It was roped off and I was very reluctant. We weren't allowed to go in there. Dippit had said no. "Oh, Bellatrix," He muttered, irritated now, "Don't pretend to care about the rules NOW." I cringed. I hated it when he wasn't pleased with me. "I'm sorry." I apologized. I stepped forward, and the door swung open. There was immediately a shriek. "WHOOOOO'S IN MY BAAAATHROOM?!?!" I jumped back, startled, and ran right in to Tom. His arms went around me, his face buried in my hair as he whispered. ."Shh...ignore her." Mmmmmmmm. Okay. "Come here," He said, taking me by the hand and pulling me towards the sinks. "Watch this." He said, that sexy smirk lighting up his face. "It's YOU!" Came a voice from behind us. "Why hello, Myrtle." He said, completely cordial. It was then that it sunk in. I gasped. He was the one who had killed this girl. He winked at me. "Back AGAIN?" The transparent, pouty, ghost asked in a nasally tone. "Yes, I'm afraid so. I'm am the head boy and it is my duty to investigate.Really, Myrtle, you mustn't be so sensitive!" She wailed and glided away at the speed of light. Her moans were drowned out by a large splash and the sounds of a toilet flushing. "Now." He said to me. "Watch this..." And those slippery, snakey sounds glided from his mouth and filled the room. And the chamber of secrets was opened.
