Okay, here is the first chapter of my fanfic... It's not very good I think, but still, I had to write it. Please tell what you think about it.
Chapter 1
Bellatrix Lestrange stared at the ceiling. She was laying in bed and felt completely empty. She wanted to cry, but there were no tears left.
He was gone. He would not come back. It was just as simple as that. She hadn’t wanted to believe it for days, but now she fully realized it.
Someone knocked on the door. It was her sister, Narcissa. ‘Here’s some nice soup for you, dear,’ she said.
‘I am not hungry,’ Bellatrix replied. Narcissa sighed and looked at her compassionately. ‘You should better eat it,’ she told her sister.
‘How could I just eat soup, pretending nothing happened, while I perfectly know he will never eat something again…’ the tears, she had believed all left, finally dropped out of her eyes.
Narcissa took the hand of her sister. ‘He wouldn’t have wanted to see you like this, Bella,’ she said. ‘He would have wanted to see you being very brave’.
Bellatrix gave a weak smile. ‘You’re right,’ she said. ‘He loved to see us being brave. Well, thanks for the soup, Cissy. Perhaps I’ll eat it today. But now I want to be alone’.
Narcissa left the room, after throwing a worried glance at her sister.
Bellatrix was left with her memories. She could still remember everything of that terrible evening as though it had just happened.
She was dueling Mrs. Weasley. That woman had called her a bitch. Who did she think she was, for Lord’s sake?
It was really exciting. To her surprise, Mrs. Weasley was a good opponent. Everyone was watching them dueling. She had to win, imagine that stupid woman would be better than she was!
‘What will happen to your children when I’ve killed you?’ she asked the stupid witch, because she felt that moment was coming very close. ‘When Mummy’s gone the same way as Freddie?’
‘You – will – never – touch – our – children – again! Avada Kedavra!’ the red haired woman yelled, but she was faster; she evaded it and shrieked the Killing Curse. It hit Mrs. Weasley right in her chest. One moment, she looked very shocked, as though she couldn’t believe she was really hit by her. Then she fell backwards, her eyes staring into nothingness.
She was just feeling extremely happy by the bloody witch’s death, when she felt how some spell hit her right in her back. She fell down and then everything was black.
‘Avada Kedavra!’
‘Expelliarmus!’
She sprang to her feet, recognizing the voice of her Lord. There was an enormous bang and she saw a golden glow, but she couldn’t see what was happening, because there were was a huge crowd of people staring at it. She made herself a way through it and in the meanwhile, she saw a wand flying through the air.
When she finally got there, she saw Harry holding the wand that she had seen flying, and his own wand. He was staring down at something. Terrified, she looked down as well. By the sight of it, her breath caught and her heart stopped pumping. When she saw her Lord lying on the ground, dead, it was like she was dying herself. ‘NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!’ she screamed. She ran towards her Lord and let herself fall beside his body. His red eyes were completely empty.
She put her arms around him strongly, as if she hoped that would bring him back again. She laid her head in his neck and sobbed her heart out.
He was dead. He was really dead. The very person she had believed to be immortal, was dead. No, it couldn’t be true. He could not have died. He was such a strong man, he had always survived, he was so powerful, he was the greatest wizard ever… He was her Lord. She would give her life for him. It had to be a mistake. Perhaps it would all turn out to be the most awful nightmare she had ever had. It just couldn’t be real…
